Afifa Legal Aid provides legal representation, consultation, and advisory services in various practice areas including, but not limited to: constitutional law, civil litigation, family law, property disputes, commercial litigation, service law, corporate law, and criminal defense. Our primary practice is before the High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Indore Bench, and subordinate courts within the state of Madhya Pradesh.
While we strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients through diligent preparation, sound legal strategy, and zealous advocacy, we cannot and do not guarantee any specific results in legal matters. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Afifa Legal Aid, its partners, employees, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with:
We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will cooperate fully with us in asserting any available defenses.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Site immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Site will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued prior to the termination date. If you are a client with a formal engagement agreement, termination of Site access does not affect your legal representation unless separately terminated in accordance with the engagement agreement.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, controversy, claim, or cause of action arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of the Site, or any services provided shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. You irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection based on forum non conveniens or lack of personal jurisdiction.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, or validity thereof shall be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within thirty (30) days, it shall be submitted to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, in the English language, by a single arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement of the parties. If the parties cannot agree on an arbitrator within fifteen (15) days, either party may request the appointment by the Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final, binding, and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights or confidential information.
Advocate Afifa Durrany is a registered legal practitioner with the Bar Council of Madhya Pradesh and is subject to the Bar Council of India Rules. These Terms and our services comply with the applicable rules of professional conduct. Under the Bar Council of India Rules, advocates are strictly prohibited from advertising or soliciting work. This website is purely for informational purposes and does not constitute an advertisement, solicitation, or invitation to create an attorney-client relationship. The information provided is intended to enable individuals to make an informed decision about whether to seek legal representation but is not intended to solicit clients.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be construed, to the extent possible, to achieve the intent of the original provision, and if not possible, shall be severed, and the remainder of these Terms shall continue in effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Affiliate Disclosure, constitute the entire agreement between you and Afifa Legal Aid regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, or understandings, whether oral or written, relating to the subject matter hereof. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Site and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Site.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Afifa Legal Aid to be effective. No waiver of any provision shall be deemed a waiver of any other provision, nor shall any waiver constitute a continuing waiver unless expressly provided.
